Acquired by the Bobcats along with Raja Bell and Sean Singletary from the Phoenix Suns on Dec. 10, 2008, in exchange for Jason Richardson and Jared Dudley… In seven NBA seasons, has played in 541 games for Atlanta, Phoenix and Charlotte, with career averages of 9.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists... Won the 2005-06 NBA Most Improved Player Award after averaging 13.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists in his first season with Phoenix… Initially selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the 21st overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft… Traded to Phoenix along with two lottery-protected first-round draft picks for Joe Johnson on Aug. 19, 2005… Prior to coming to the NBA, played three seasons with Pau Orthez in France from 2000-03.

Named NBA Most Improved Player in his first season with Phoenix… Averaged 13.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists in 35.5 minutes over 81 games, all career highs… Ranked 17th in the NBA in assists and tied for 31st in rebounds… Was one of only three NBA players (LeBron James, Jason Kidd) to average at least six rebounds and six assists… Tallied four triple-doubles – April 16, 2006 (11 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists vs. L.A. Lakers), April 14, 2006 (11 points, 11 rebounds, 16 assists at Golden State), March 5, 2006 (24 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists), Jan. 31, 2006 (14 points, 11 rebounds, 13 assists at Philadelphia) – trailing only Kidd (8) and James (6)... Appeared in 76 games for the Hawks as a rookie, averaging 4.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 25.3 minutes… Scored in double figures six times and recorded double-figure rebounds on four occasions, posting one double-double – a 13-point, 12-rebound effort on April 14 at Boston.
INTERNATIONAL CAREER:
Member of the France Senior National Team since 2003… Averaged 9.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists for the French National Team at the 2007 European Championships in Madrid, Spain, as France finished in eighth place… Named captain of the French National Team and led his club to a fifth-place finish at the 2006 FIBA World Championships in Japan… Averaged 11.9 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists in nine games (5-4 record)… Also competed in the European Championships in 2003 and 2005… Played for Pau Orthez in France from 2000-03, averaging 6.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 93 games… In 2002-03, averaged 7.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 23 contests and connected on 59.6 percent of his shots… Two days after being drafted by the Hawks, helped his team to their second French League championship, along with teammate Mickael Pietrus, who was selected by the Warriors with the 11th overall pick in the 2003 draft… Named 2001 Pro A Newcomer of the Year for Pau Orthez as they took home the league championship… Played in the league's All-Star Game and won the slam dunk contest in 2001-02.
